About Us
J. Jamal Beauty was birthed from Kelsey having the desire to get back to her craft of art/makeup. Many of you might not know but the “J.” stands for Ms. Johnson’s last name, and “Jamal” pronounced جمال Jamāl/Ğamāl meaning beauty in Arabic.
Launched in January 2020, and on course to be a fast-growing beauty brand, J. Jamal Beauty is a beauty, health, and wellness brand developed by Kelsey Johnson. J. Jamal Beauty revolves around exceptionally soft glam beauty services, beauty tips, and health & wellness events.
J. Jamal Beauty's goal is to help women feel beautiful, providing quality services, exceptional customer services, and offer luxury products for purchase.
J. Jamal Beauty clients are two types of people, people who are interested in quality beauty services and people who are interested in providing beauty services.
Kelsey Johnson now, Kelsey Cooper, is a professional makeup artist with over ten years of experience. She has worked for brands such as Laura Mercier, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Bobbi Brown, and Calvin Klein Beauty. She specializes in bridal makeup, while still enjoying making every woman feel beautiful who experiences her artistry. Kelsey loves sharing her gift for beauty, whether it’s giving tips, teaching a class, or encouraging women to seek their true essence. Her glow will light up a room and she hopes yours does too.
Kelsey believes that beauty is beyond what you look like, but more about how you feel. Even in her health journey, she gives energy to learning, being better, and striving for excellence.
J. Jamal Beauty services three areas, Tampa, FL (and surrounding areas), Jacksonville, FL and Baltimore, MD (and surrounding areas). Tiffany W. is our Regional Lead Makeup Artist for the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. Tiffany has over 17 years of experience in the beauty industry.
There are several ways people can engage with our brand, purchase a product or online course, book a beauty service, or join us for Happy Hour! We also are launching a mentorship program for youth in Baltimore City soon.

This class is for students who have minor knowledge of makeup. Will will use all the products in your kit, this can be done virtually or in person.
